We Will Not Go Down (Song for Gaza)
A blinding flash of white light
Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight
People running for cover
Not knowing whether they’re dead or alive
They came with their tanks and their planes
With ravaging fiery flames
And nothing remains
Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze
We will not go [...]
Gaza and Israel: I wonder what would happen…

I wonder what would happen.
I wonder what would happen if the situation between the Muslim Palestinians in Gaza and the Jews in Israel was reversed.
I wonder what would happen if Israel had never existed because they had lost their “war of independence”, which had then left millions of Jews blockaded in ghettos and [...]

This is worth reading. It’s about the only intelligent opinion I have read about the economic crisis in America and the Bailout proposed by George Bush. It’s a shame this senator isn’t running for president.
It’s interesting that his amendment to the Bailout bill before Congress, which would [...]

Assalamu’alaikum wr.wb.,
Stop the Oil Speculators

This is interesting. I didn’t realize that oil producing countries were currently stockpiling oil because “there is too much supply in the market”. Amazing. And also, the actual cost of a barrel in terms of supply and demand is only around $50-60, not the $130 it currently is. So, the extra is caused by speculators [...]
